Usually demo import issues are related to weak resources and you can see our recommendations regarding those in this article.

Also, in case that you are using cache plugin, please deactivate it. It’s recommended that cache plugin stays deactivated during demo import and while the site is still in the development stage.

For demo import please follow instructions from this article. On the off chance that you’ve waited for a while and the demo import didn’t finish properly, you can try importing via XML import.
