But about a week ago, my site just suddenly displays a blank white screen. When I move my mouse around, I can see that my portfolio links are there – just hidden from sight for some reason. I have no idea what to do and can’t seem to find any help to solve this matter. Thank you.

By default, the menu pages open in the same tab, unless the options for the menu item in question is set otherwise. This is located under Appearance>Menu>Open link in a new tab.
