Hi there, thank you for writing in and choosing our themes!
Since version 1.6 was a major update, this kind of error happens if you don’t update the Elated Core plugin to the latest version as well. You can do that manually via FTP account.
Just log in and navigate to wp-content/plugins and remove eltd-core folder. This will retrieve your Dashboard, from where you can update Core plugin automatically.
After that, update all the other plugins as well and everything should work properly. Here you can find more info on updating a theme: https://helpcenter.qodeinteractive.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002326058-How-To-Update-A-WordPress-Theme-And-Plugins
