It’s not possible to combine elements from different themes, just the ones you get with the theme you purchased. The same goes for modules – modules can only be used within a theme they come with.

I love the template but need a little bit more functionality when it comes to portfolio pages and adding non blog post widgets to home pages. Ideally creating something that is a hybrid magazine / portfolio site. Is the magazine module a plugin something that can be purchased an added onto another theme?

Please refer to our Help Center so we can manually deactivate your purchase code in order for you to be able to re-register the theme, considering you have deleted the entire installation. Also, consult this article for everything related to registration, activation, deregistration and re-registration.
